My aim
To provide you with the best opportunity to bring about the changes
in your life that you want to bring about.
My promise
You will receive my personal attention and the programme that we
use will be tailored to your individual needs.
Further more I will endeavour to help you bring about the desired
change in as short a period as possible, (in many cases this may
be as little as a single 90 minute session).
My Role
To help my clients overcome their self-limiting behaviour and beliefs.
We all have them and often family, friends or teachers have planted
them at an early age. Or the may appear in later life as a result
of comments from work colleagues or by our own flawed interpretation
of events and experiences.
We are all capable of so much more than we allow our selves to
achieve.
My role is to help you change and modify these self-limiting beliefs
and behaviours using positive, relaxing, and enjoyable techniques,
so that you can achieve the things in life that you really ant to
achieve.
My background
I have twenty-five years experience as a Training and Organisational
Development Consultant and has been a practicing hypnotherapist
for fifteen years.
Fifteen years ago I established the first stress management centre
in Northern Ireland working mainly with individuals.
Over a number of years I came to recognise that best way to manage
and indeed avoid stress, is by developing positive strategies and
approaches to problems and situations. This helps to reduce and
often alleviate the stress completely and provides clients with
new motivation and confidence.
As a consequence I undertook, to train in NLP. I chose to do this
training with, Dr Richard Bandler, the co-founder of NLP, who has
spent thirty years developing his highly acclaimed approach. He
is recognised, world wide as an authority in modelling and re-modelling
human behaviour.
My experiences with NLP ha s resulted in a change of emphasis from
focusing on helping clients manage negative situations, to helping
clients create new positive situations in their lives.
My approach
As a life coach I draw upon a number of techniques to bring about
the changes that you want to make. These may be used individually
or in combination. At all times I will explain how each work and
how they may benefit you. I will not progress until I am sure that
you are comfortable to move on.
All of the techniques that I use direct clients towards positive
future change. Many clients comment on how relaxing and enjoyable
the process is. Furthermore they tell me that they are go away with
a new insight and understanding of the way they approach certain
aspects of their life.
Life change techniques include: -
Life Planning Strategies
Developed over 20 years of experience in training, personal development
and stress management.
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
NLP has been developed over the past thirty years from studies,
which have modelled human behaviour. Of particular interest is
the way that different people perceive the same events in different
ways. NLP enables us to develop simple modelling techniques, which
can be used to change your associations and reactions in specific
situations. Replacing negative responses with positive ones.
Light Trance Hypnosis
This is simply a deep state of relaxation and altered awareness.
This state allows you to filter out every day distractions so
that the unconscious part of your mind - that part which controls
90% of what you do - can respond more effectively to positive
suggestions. Thus allowing you to the changes that you wish to
make.
In light trance hypnosis you will feel very relaxed, but you will
be conscious at all times. You will be aware of what is going
on around you and you will be encourage to actively participate
in the programme at all times.
EFT
Emotional Freedom Technique is a fairly recent development, based
upon the energy meridians, which are used in Eastern medicine.
EFT uses the same points that are utilised in acupuncture and
acupressure. Using a simple tapping routine, whilst concentrating
on the emotional state that needs to be changed, can be very effective
in releasing that state.
